How It All Started

It started with a frustration we all felt, searching for a Ugandan song and finding nothing but broken links and sketchy download sites. So we decided to build the thing we wished existed.

What began as a weekend project grew into Uganda's most comprehensive music archive, powered by a community of artists, fans, and music lovers across the Pearl of Africa.

The Idea
Born out of frustration at broken Ugandan music download sites. We started building the platform we always wanted.
2024
First 1,000 Songs
Launched with a hand-curated library of over 1,000 songs across Afrobeats, Gospel, Lugaflow, and Kadongo Kamu.
2025
Artist Uploads Go Live
Opened the platform so any Ugandan artist can upload directly. 500+ artists joined in the first month alone.
